Shocking: India Reported Over 52,000 Cases In 24 Hours

India added as many as 52,123 fresh infections of the virus in 24 hours, which takes the toll of the total infections of the contagious disease in the country to 15,83,792.
As per the data released by the Union Health Ministry, a total of 32,553 patients recovered from the respiratory disease. With this, the total recoveries zoomed to 10,20,582. While the active cases stood at 5,28,242.
On a brighter note, the recovery rate which has been increasing gradually currently reached 64.51%. For the first time, the difference between active and recovered cases inching towards 5 lakh with 4,92,340.
As many as 4,46,642 samples were tested for the ongoing pandemic in the last 24 hours and so far a total of 1,81,90,382 samples were tested for the respiratory disease in the country.
AP reported 10,093 fresh infections of the virus on Wednesday and the total cases of the virus in the state to 1,20,390. So far, 1,213 people succumbed to the dreaded virus.
Fellow Telugu State Telangana reported 1,764 fresh infections of the virus on Wednesday which takes the count of the total infections in the state to 58,906. The state reported 492 casualties so far.
The data collected by the Johns Hopkins University stated that the ongoing pandemic has left around 17,007,142 people infected with the virus globally, while 664,273 people succumbed to the virus.
