India Reports Highest Recoveries In A Singel Day With Over 1 Lakh

In a shocking development, the total Corona infections in India pass surged the mammoth 5.5 million-mark after India reported over 75,000 fresh infections in the last 24 hours.
As per the information provided by the Union Health Ministry, as many as 75,083 fresh infections in a single day, which marks the lowest count of fresh cases since late August. With this, total cases zoomed to 5,562,663.
India, which has been reporting over 1,000 fatalities since a few days witnessed 1,053 fresh casualties in the past 24 hours. So far, 88,935 patients breathed their last battling the virus.
On a brighter note, India reported over 1 lakh recoveries for the first time with as many as 101,468 recoveries which takes the total recoveries in the country to 4,497,867. The recovery percent rose to a record 80.85%. There are 975,861 active cases in the country.
Since the last three days, India has been reporting more than 90,000 Coronavirus recoveries adding nearly 3 lakh recoveries of the virus.
In the last 24 hours, Telangana witnessed 2166 fresh Corona cases and a total of 1,74,774 patients have been diagnosed with the virus in the so far. Including 10 fresh casualties, total casualties rose to 1052.
Fellow Telugu State Andhra Pradesh added 6235 new Corona cases on Monday. With this, the count of patients infected with the virus zoomed to 631749. So far, 5410 patients succumbed to the virus.
Looking at the global scenario, more than 30.4 million patients were infected with the novel Coronavirus, while around 21 million people have been recovered from the virus. The virus claimed 958,400 lives globally.
