India Reports Near 70,000 Fresh Infections In 24 Hours

As per the data released by the Union Health Ministry, a whooping 22,80,567 patients have been recovered and discharged from the hospital so far and the active cases stood at 7,07,668.
Raising many fears and concerns about the spread of the contagious disease, as of now 56,706 people lost their lives to the disease, including 912 people breathing their last in the last 24 hours.
Andhra Pradesh reported more than 10,000 fresh pandemic cases on Saturday, the total cases mounted to 3,45,216. Including 97 new casualties, total fatalities in the state rose to 3,189.
On the other hand, Telangana added as many as 2,384 fresh cases the other day which takes the toll of the total cases in the state to 1,04,249. So far, 755 people have lost their lives to the dreaded virus.
Globally, the ongoing pandemic left as many as over 23 million infected with the virus, while 800,000 patients breathed their last breath while battling the contagious virus as of now.
