India Reports Over 83,000 Cases For Second Consecutive Day

Day after reporting the highest spike of fresh cases, India yet again reported over 83,000 fresh Corona infections, which in turn resulted in the total infections increasing to over 3.93 million.

In the last 24 hours, India reported as many as 83,341 fresh infections. With this, the total Coronavirus cases in India mounted to a whopping 3,936,747 and inching towards 4 million.

On the other hand, 1,096 patients succumbed to the contagious disease in the last 24 hours. This takes the total fatalities in connection with the pandemic to 68,472.

So far, a total of 3,037,151 patients have been recovered from the virus including 66,659 fresh patients managed to recover from the virus and got discharged from the hospitals accordingly. The active cases stood at 831,124.

Telangana reported 2478 fresh Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours and the total cases in the state zoomed to 1,35,884. With 10 patients losing their lives in the past 24 hours, the total casualties rose to 866.

On Thursday, Andhra Pradesh added 10,199 fresh Coronavirus taking the total Corona infections to 4,65,730. So far 4,200 patients succumbed to the virus in the state.

According to the data collected by the popular Johns Hopkins University, the global cases pass surged 26.2 million mark and more than 867,000 patients lost their lives across the globe.
