India Reports The Highest Hop In Fresh Cases With Over 97,000 Infections

India straightaway reported over 95,000 fresh pandemic cases for three consecutive days, with as many as 97,570 fresh infections in the past 24 hours and the caseload pass surged 46 lakh-mark
With the latest addition of fish infections, India's tally of infections mounted to a whopping 4,659,984. India is just 2 lakh infections behind the United States in terms of cases.
India yet again reported over 1,000 fatalities in a single day with 1,201 casualties. So far 77,472 patients have died in the country due to the novel Coronavirus. Since September 1st, India has been reporting around 1,000 fatalities daily.
According to the Union Health Ministry, so far, a total of 3,624,196 patients have been recovered from the pandemic in the country with a record recovery rate of 77.77 percent. There are 958,316 active cases in India.
On a brighter note, the difference between the recovered cases and active cases in the country got widened to a record 2,665,880.
In the past 24 hours, Telangana reported 2278 fresh cases taking the toll of the pandemic infections to 154880. 950 patients breathed their last battling the virus in the state.
Andhra Pradesh reported 9999 infections in a single day. With this, total cases in the state mounted to 5,47,686. The fatality count in the state rose to 4779,.
Looking at the global scenario, 28,639,357 patients were diagnosed with the ongoing pandemic. The recoveries and fatalities globally stood at 20,561,730 and 918,928 respectively.
