India test-fired nuclear missile Agni-5

First Test of Agni-5 was held on April 19th, 2012. Second Test is carried out on September 15th, 2013. Third Test was done on January 31st, 2015. Today, The missile was test-fired from a mobile launcher in launch complex-4 of the Integrated Test Range (ITR).
Agni-5 is designed to strike the target in the range of more than 5,000 km. It is India's longest range and most advanced nuclear capable missile. While its length is 17-metre, width os about 2-metre. The overall weight of Agni-5 is close to 50 tonnes. Its capable of carrying a nuclear warhead weighing over one tone.
Already, India have Agni-1 (700 km range), Agni-2 (2,000 km range), Agni-3 (2,500 km range) and Agni-4 (3,500 km range) in its armoury. Agni-5 will join them very soon.
