The count of Internet Users in India is expected to touch 402 million by December 2015 which is huge escalation of 49 percent compared to last year statistics.
China dominates the elite club with 600 million Internet users. By October this year, USA have around 375 million Internet Users. Most likely, India will be surpassing US within one month to become the second largest Internet user base in the World. It would also be emerging as the first nation with largest Internet users in a free market democratic set-up.
As per statistics, India took more than a decade to reach 100 million Internet users from 10 million-mark. The time period for 100 to 200 million growth is 3 years. Whereas, The tricolor nation managed to move from 300 to 400 million users within just one year. In India, There are 71 percent Male and 29 percent female Internet users.
Internet Users in Rural India have seen a considerable growth in the past one year. While the count reaches 117 million in December 2015, It is likely to touch 147 million-mark by June next year.
