India-Sri Lanka T20 breaks 3 Years record

The 2nd T20 Match between India and Sri Lanka in Ranchi broke the three-year-old viewership record. As per stats, TVM (Television Viewership in Millions) record set by India-Pakistan T20 match held on December 25th 2012 in Bengaluru has been shattered.
Ranchi T20 on February 12th fetched 256 TVM on Star Sports network as per BARC Panel CS4+ Urban calculations. The earlier record was broken by a huge margin of 112 TVM.
Experts say, This is a good start for the T20 Season. Even Asia Cup which will be played in the T20 format for the first time is expected to fetch good TVMs. And then, The most-awaited ICC T20 World Cup & Indian Premier League (IPL) Season 9 follows.
