India Witnessed Highest Number Of Fresh Cases in 24 Hours

India straightaway reported more than 1,000 fatalities for the third consecutive day with 1,057 in the last 24 hours. With this, the total fatalities in connection with the virus rose to 61,529.
According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, a total of 2,583,948 patients have been recovered so far with a recovery rate of 76.27 percent including 60,177 fresh recoveries. The active cases stood at 742,023.
Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka are the worst-affected states in the country with the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus.
Telangana reported 2932 fresh Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the total cases in the state to 1,17,415. So far, 799 patients breathed their last battling the virus.
Andhra Pradesh added as many as 10,621 fresh infections on Thursday and the total infections zoomed to 3,93,090. As of now, 3,633 patients lost their lives to the contagious disease.
The global count of the infections rose to 24,605,227, while over 17,075,625 patients have been recovered. Across the world, as many as 834,771 patients succumbed to the dreaded virus.
