The Taliban troops in Afghanistan went forward on their mission to capture the nation at an unprecedented pace. Within days after capturing Kandahar, the troops took control over Kabul, the capital city.

This in turn resulted in a great chaos in Afghanistan. This made the other countries worry about their diplomats and nationals living in Afghanistan.

India took a timely step to evacuate as many as 120 diplomats and officials from Afghanistan. The heavy aircraft C-17 used by the Indian Air force was used for the mission.

The News Agency ANI said that the aircraft that belongs to the Indian Air force carrying more than 120 officials has left from the Kabul city today.

As per the information, the aircraft is expected to land on Indian soil by afternoon or evening today.

This is the second evacuation carried out by the Indian Air force. The first batch was successfully brought to India on Sunday.

The Indian Air force officials had to sweat it out to see that the aircraft takes off from Kabul as the country is being run by the Taliban troops.

However, the officials had coordinated with the United States military forces in the tough rescue operation.

As the United States forces are currently controlling the air base in Afghanistan, the Indian Air force officials had a word with them and successfully evacuated the officials.

On the other hand, the Indian government is eagerly waiting for the United States to permit civilian flights. Once the flights resume operations, the civilians will also be evacuated from there.

The embassy there provided a number for the Indians living in Afghanistan to register their details so that they can be evacuated from there.

It is known that the United States is currently permitting the military aircrafts to enter Afghanistan.

We have to particularly appreciate the Indian Air force officials for executing such a risky mission without utmost perfection.

With the capital city Kabul too going into Taliban control, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani fled the country leaving the country to Taliban.

International media had claimed that President Ghani left with four cars and a chopper full of cash.
