News about an Indian-American Techie walking into a police station in the United States with a corpse in his car after killing four of his family members left everyone stunned.
Shankar Nagappa Hangud, a resident of Roseville in California, went to a Northern Carolina police station carrying a dead body in his car on Monday. He informed the police about killing people at his apartment located in the Placer County City. Two Cops went outside to verify whether the confession of the man was true or not. Police haven't named the victims so far but reports hint two of them could be minors.
Cops are yet to figure out the motive behind the murders but they suspect it could be related to finances. The Accused was brought back from Siskiyou County on Monday night to lock him up at the South Placer Jail.
As per his Linkedln Profile, Shankar Nagappa Hangud is a data specialist. In this year, He faced a federal tax of $178,603 from the Internal Revenue Service.
Shankar Nagappa Hangud was wearing a safety vest when he was produced in the court on Wednesday. As per Lawyers advice, The Accused offered his consent for a public attorney to argue in his defence. However, Confession made by the Accused after the crime has already ruined any chances of escaping from the stringent punishment. The 53-Year-Old was taken back to the Placer County and placed in the Jail after the formality.
