By: Tupaki Desk | 13 Aug 2021 7:06 AM GMTThe recently concluded Tokyo Olympics has been the best Olympic journey to India so far with the Indian athletes showing their prowess on the international stage.
However, a few athletes have lost the bronze medals with a very narrow percentage. Despite giving their maximum effort, they couldn't win the medal.
As a token of appreciation for the athletes who did their best at the Tokyo Olympics, Tata Motors announced that the athletes who lost the Bronze medals will be receiving Altroz vehicles.
In a press release, the biggest automobile company in the country, Tata Motors said, the athletes have inspired the youth with their journey.
Tata Motors called the decision as a token of appreciation for the athletes who represented the country at the prestigious event. They might have not won medals, but they had won our hearts, the company said.
"As a gesture of gratitude, Tata Motors is happy to deliver ALTROZ-#TheGoldStandard to all the Indian athletes who narrowly missed the bronze at #TokyoOlympics. They may not have claimed a medal, but won millions of hearts and inspired billions to set #TheGoldStandard," Tata Motors said in a tweet.
It is an appreciable gesture from the Tata Motors to present the athletes who lost the chances of winning bronze with a minimal percentage.
This will boost the morale of the athletes and help them bounce back in the upcoming tournaments.
Tata Altroz is the hatchback vehicle that comes in both petrol and diesel variants. The vehicles are available in various colours.
The company is going to present the Gold standard vehicle to the athletes and they will be reaching to the players very soon.
