Indian Businessman spent Rs 60 cr for Number Plate

Indian Businessman Balwinder Sahani who is the owner of Dubai-based property management firm shelled out a whooping Rs 60 crore for a 'Number Plate'.
Reportedly, Balwinder Sahani took part in an auction held in Dubai for a single digit car registration plate. For winning the auction of 'D5' Number Plate, He spent as much as AED 33 Million (Rs 60 crore approx).
Balwinder Sahani is crazy about unique Number Plates and he have 10 of them by now. He wishes to own few more such fancy ones. Mr. Balwinder wants to use the Rs 60 crore number plate for his Rolls Royce.
Over 300 bidders took part in the auction of 80 fancy number plates. In UAE, Hundreds of Crores have been spent by bidders for special numbers and the auction will take place after every two months.
