The supporters of the movement are expressing their anger on India in various ways. Hindu temples are attacked a few times.
Now the trend is that the Khalistan supporters are attacking the Indian Consulate office. In one such unfortunate incident, the Indian consulate in San Francisco was attacked and set on fire. No one was injured in this mishap and the firefighters doused the fire.
The issue has raised many concerns as the Indian Consulate getting attacked is not a small thing. India and America share good ties and despite this, the Consulate was attacked. There are a few questions on the security breach at the consulate premises.
As per the media reports, the Indian Consulate was set on fire during the early hours of Sunday. The Fire Department was informed about this and they jumped into the scene to douse the fire. It is said that no injuries were reported and no further damage was reported in the attack.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time the Indian Consulate in San Francisco was attacked. Earlier, the Consulate was attacked. The attack was so intense that even the safety barricades were damaged and the property was also damaged. Khalistan flags were also unfurled.
