Indian Fans HeartBreak Continues, India Out Of WC
By: Tupaki Desk | 10 Nov 2022 12:00 PM GMTThe heartbreak of Indian fans in knockout matches continues as India is knocked out of the ongoing T20 World Cup. In the semis match played against England, the Men In Blue are dominated by the English team. India suffered a big loss by 10 wickets and we witnessed a humiliating defeat.
Like how the Indian team was defeated by arch-rivals Pakistan in 2021 WEngalsh crushed the Indian team with 10 wickets. India did not get the ideal start as we lost the early wicket of KL Rahul who lost his wicket after scoring five runs.
The England bowlers did not let the Indian batsmen free their arms and took wickets at regular intervals. At fifteen overs India's score was just 102 for the loss of three wickets. In the last five overs, India bounced back and put up a score of 168. Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya scored quick fifties.
England started the chase on a flying note and showed its intent from the first over itself. The openers Alex Hales and Jos Buttler did not spare any bowler and senior bowler like Bhuvneshwar Kumar also went for runs. No matter who the bowler was, the English batsmen targeted them and put up an unbeaten partnership of 170 runs. The England team chased the target with four overs to spare.
Now the England team will lock horns with Pakistan at the Melbourne stadium on Sunday. While the Pakistan team fans are hoping to repeat the 1992 scenario, the England team fans are hoping that their team will bring the T20 World Cup home.
