Indian Idol 2 winner Sandeep Acharya dies of jaundice

Singer Sandeep Acharya, who won the second season of reality show Indian Idol in 2006 was died with illness.
"Yes, Sandeep passed away at the Medanta Hospital today. He was suffering from jaundice. We brought him here on Dec 10," Akshay Acharya, Sandeep's cousin, said
Sandeep (29), who hailed from Bikaner, Rajasthan, had been suffering from jaundice for a fortnight.The singer was shifted to Gurgaon in Haryana after his condition deteriorated.He was born on February 4, 1984, and was the youngest in the family of two sisters and a brother .
Married last year, Acharya is survived by wife and a child. On 22 Apr 2006, Sandeep won India Idol 2. After the Indian Idol success, Acharya had participated in TV show Jalwa Four 2 Ka 1.
Various singers expressed shock over his demise
Singer Sonu Nigam had tweeted on Sunday, "Sandeep Acharya died? Oh my God... his Wikipedia has been modified 15 minutes back... any1 knows how? I'm so so sad. Wht a btful soul."
Singer Shreya Ghoshal wished the news about his demise was not untrue. Just heard about... Sandeep Acharya...Shocked. Too young, and a wonderful guy, Shreya tweeted.
