Indian-origin Man jailed 18 Years in UK

An Indian-origin UK Man was sentenced to 18 years in prison for killing his Ex-Wife.
Ashwin Daudia, the convict, says he hadn't attacked his former Wife Kiran deliberately but lost his cool during a heated argument. 'She had assaulted Me first. Then, I put my hand over her mouth and pressed her neck to silence her. I had lied to my family that she hasn't returned home from a morning shift after stuffing the body in suitcase,' he admits.
After killing his ex-wife, Ashwin Daudia stuffed the body in a suitcase and dumped it in an alleyway. He was caught on CCTV dragging the suitcase. Though he denied murder charge, The Jury found him guilty of killing the 46-Year-Old who was a call centre worker.
In 1988, Ashwin and Kiran had an arranged marriage. They got divorced in 2014 but continued to live under the same roof. Ashwin was supposed to move out of family home on January 16th, 2017. On the same day, The murder happened and cops discovered the body in suitcase the next day.
