After the thumping win, Virat Kohli's teammates celebrated the captain’s birthday in the dressing room. The supporting staff was also present in the dressing room during the birthday celebrations.

Setting up the celebration mood in the dressing room, former Indian cricketer team and current mentor Mahendra Singh Dhoni had led the celebrations making his birthday a memorable one for Run Machine Virat Kohli. The Board of Control for Cricket in India(BCCI) shared the video of the celebration on Twitter.

In the video, Virat Kohli can be seen blowing the candles and cutting the cake amid birthday song sung by the teammates and supporting staff. The cake cutting video received more than 1.3 million likes and thousands of comments. After the cake cutting, the cake was all over Virat Kohli's face. Youngsters Ishan Kishan, Rishabh Pant, and others showed their love towards Virat Kohli by covering his face with cake.

On his birthday, wifey Anushka Sharma shared a beautiful picture with Virat Kohli. Captioning the picture that the post doesn't require any caption, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma wished her man a successful year ahead calling him the best.'

As a special moment, Virat Kohli had won the toss in the match against Scotland on Friday. India lost the two matches having lost the toss. Pakistan and New Zealand put India to bat first and restricted India from scoring big runs. As a result, India had to lose the two matches making the chances of reaching the semis thin.

The empathetic win against Scotland had helped India increase the Net Run Rate. If Afghanistan manages to defeat New Zealand in its next match and India defeats Namibia, then we can enter the semi-finals.'

Besides hoping Afghanistan to eliminate the black caps on Sunday, India will have to crush Namibia on Monday that too with a big margin. Indian fans are hoping the two will happen. Monday's match will be the last match for India in the Super 12.
