Indian Rupee Fall: Aspirants Looking for Alternatives to US?
By: Tupaki Desk | 21 July 2022 1:31 PM GMTAs a big concern, the Indian rupee has been falling against the US dollar. Over the past eight years, the Indian currency's value depreciated by 25 percent as per the official data. Now the Indian rupee saw an all-time low as it is trading at Rs 80 per one US dollar.
Not just the Indians living here, but those who went to the US for studies are also facing the heat. Students who study there will get money for their expenses from their families. They deposit money and that translate to dollars. The normal expenses have now turned even costlier with the heavy downfall of the Indian rupee.
Seeing this, the aspirants who want to go abroad for educational purposes are looking at other options like the UK, Canada, and Australia. Almost all the nations offer the same quality in education and other areas.
But what makes the United States stand alone is the easy process to get jobs. Even the student visa holders and the dependent visa holders can get a job with a basic pay scale, which is not the case in other countries. So the students and aspirants have no other option than to stick to the US.
As the situations have changed now, it would not be a wonder if people chose other nations. Ending money for children is a big challenge for parents now. Only those who are doing jobs there are ok and they are in a good position.
But those who want to study abroad might prefer other nations. The main reason is that their parents might not face issues sending money and it will be a big ref. If they get a job it would be an added advantage. If they don't, they can cut short the expenses and manage their expenses rather than asking parents to send more money.
