Indian Wicket Keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik's family got bigger. He and his wife Dipika Pallikal welcomed two twins, boys. Breaking the happy news with his fans, Dinesh Karthik had also announced the names of his twins Kabir Pallikal Karthik and Zian Pallikal Karthik. The batsman gave a poetic caption to his post.

Sharing two pictures on Instagram, one that shows Dinesh Karthik and his wife Dipika Pallikal with their pet dog and another picture with their newborns, Dinesh Karthik said their family of three turned five."And just like that 3 became 5 Dipika and I have been blessed with two beautiful baby boys Kabir Pallikal Karthik Zian Pallikal Karthik and we could not be happier," DK said.

After Dinesh Karthik announced the happy news, his fans and netizens have flooded the post with congratulatory messages and likes. Netizens have congratulated him on starting a new chapter as a father. His post got lakhs of likes and thousands of comments.

Dinesh Karthik's wife Dipika Pallikal represents India in squash. The athlete had won a few medals at various levels and was ranked in the top 10 athletes of the sport in the world. Taking to Twitter, she had also announced the good news.

"And just like that 3 became 5.@DineshKarthik and I are very humbled to have been blessed with two beautiful baby boys, Kabir Pallikal Karthik & Zian Pallikal Karthik, and we could not be happier," Dipika tweeted.

Dinesh Karthik is now concentrating on the Indian Premier League (IPL) and represents Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the tournament. The two-time IPL trophy winner had put up a tough fight in the finals but could not win the title. In the finals, the three-time IPL winner CSK defeated KKR to win their fourth title.

With back-to-back wins against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), and Delhi Capitals (DC), KKR had secured its spot in the finals. In the edge of the seat corner, KKR lost to Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led CSK.
