US Ambassador Says Indians Got Highest Student Visas!

India and America share friendly ties and it is the dream of many Indians to land in America. Be it for Study purposes or job purposes, Indians prefer America over other nations. The count of Indians moving to the United States increases every year and the Indian population is also growing in the US.
Indians moving to the United States take up crucial positions there and are in respectable professions like doctors, Engineers, and others. The United States Administration mentioned the importance of the Indian community many times and said that the community has a big role in the country.
Indians account for a big population among the immigrants who move to America. There are also a few public representatives of Indian origin there. This is an example of how the Indian population is becoming a significant force in the United States.
Now US Ambassador Eric Garcetti said that Indians are the highest Visa getters for 2022. He said that the average number of student visas is high in India compared to other countries and the number of students who come to the US is quite higher than the other nations.
The US Mission in India held the seventh annual Student Visa Day the other day and US Ambassador Eric Garcetti graced the event. Addressing the event he said that Indians are given the highest Student Visas than others and one in every five US Student visas is given to Indians.
As per the data, more than 125,000 student visas were processed in India in 2022 and this is said to be the highest so far. Not just student visas, Indians also received the highest share of employment visas and Indians account for around 65% of H&L employment visas given globally.
US Ambassador Eric Garcetti expressed his happiness over the efforts in bringing down the waiting period of visa processes and said that the tradition of Indian students moving to the United States is not new and students going to America for higher education is a longstanding one. He also said that this year also the visas are available in the highest numbers and students need not worry about anything.
