Indians To Get The Pandemic Vaccine By 2020-End!
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Aug 2020 12:21 PM GMTThe spread of the ongoing pandemic is ringing the danger bells in the country as more than 50,000 fresh cases were being daily. As of now the total cases in the country reached 27,67,274 with 64,531 fresh pandemic cases reported in the last 24 hours.
Amid this tough situation, the only relief is that the potential vaccine to cure the pandemic which is being developed by the Oxford in collaboration with Serum Institute of India will enter the III Phase of the clinical trial this week.
The Oxford-AstraZeneca showed encouraging results in the first II phases of clinical trials. If everything goes well India will lay hands on the potential vaccine to cure the respiratory disease.
Another vaccine from India 'COVAXIN', developed by Bharat Biotech will undergo the second phase of the clinical trial, and based on the outcome the third phase will be planned.
So the chances of manufacturing India's first potential vaccine to cure the pandemic are very thin for Bharat Biotech when compared to Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine
Earlier, Russia announced the vaccine to cure the pandemic which raised many questions on the credibility of the vaccine. World Health Organization(WHO) too expressed concerns about the vaccine.
