Indoor plants are driving the Dengue cases in Hyderabad!
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Aug 2021 10:41 AMAs a result of the monsoon season, the cases of viral fever, Dengue and Malaria are surging. The capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad is also seeing Dengue cases constantly.
The officials of the health department who are examining the patients with the Dengue symptoms have appealed to the public to be careful with the indoor plants as these plants are the reason behind the breeding of mosquitoes.
It is said that lion share of dengue cases were reported from Jubilee Hills, Serilingampally, Secunderabad and other posh areas.
Compared to the other areas in the city, the residents of these areas grow indoor plants which is said to be the driving force of the Dengue cases.
The pots used to grow plants contain small amounts of water as these plots are placed on saucers like objects. The water in the pots makes them perfect for the mosquitoes to grow, the medical officials said.
The medical experts have also warned to look out for the water bowls that are placed for the pets in the house and the birds as well.
