Infections In India Mount To Over 12 Lakhs

India reported the highest spike of virus cases in the last 24 houses with 45,720 taking the total infections of the respiratory disease in the country to 12,38,635. The other day, India added 37,724.
On a brighter note, as many as 29,557 patients recovered from the contagious disease in the past 24 hours. With this, the total recoveries of the disease surged to 7,82,606, while the active cases stood at 4,26,167.
India recorded record fatalities of the virus in a single day with 1,129 fatalities and the total casualties in connection with the respiratory disease in the country zoomed to 29,861.
Looking at the samples tested for the contagious disease, as many as 3,43,243 samples were tested on Wednesday alone and as of July 22, 1,50,75,369 samples have been tested.
Globally, the total cases mounted to 15,007,291, while as many as 617,603 people succumbed to the respiratory disease. The United States contains a lion share of cases in the world with 3,915,780 infections and 142,312 fatalities.
