Infosys CEO Talks About WFO Demands From Clients!
By: Tupaki Desk | 29 Jun 2023 11:01 PM ISTThe Work From Home model became the new normal for employees due to the Covid outbreak. The model lasted for two and a half years. With things becoming normal, employers are asking employees to work from home. This is the case with any country in the world.
However, a few giants are being liberal with the employees and are not demanding them to come to the office. Infosys is among the companies that are allowing employees to work in their comfort. The company recently asked employees to work from offices in the US and Canada. However, there is no clarity on what will be the situation in India.
Amid this, Salil Parekh, Chief Executive Officer Of Infosys made some crucial comments. He said that they want to be flexible with the employees, but a few clients are adamant to have employees working from offices. The CEO said this to highlight the importance of social capital and the need for people to be connected.
He made these comments when asked about what will be the case of the hybrid model. While talking about the liberal nature of the company to allow employees to work from their home or office, the CEO also said that there are getting requests from some clients that 'Work From Office' should be there.
As the 'Work From Office' model was being implemented in US and Canada offices, there are few doubts on whether India will be the new nation. As of now, employees are working in the hybrid model and we have to wait and see.
Seeing this from the client's point of view, they might be having some doubts that there might be a delay in their work if employees work from home. Besides office work, they should also take care of house chores and there might be a delay in work with other issues like power cuts or internet issues.
