One of the leading software companies Infosys is all set to open a new technology hub at Richardson in Texas, USA. In that, the company is going to hire 500 Americans by 2020. The global software major has revealed this news on Wednesday.

"The new hub is for the expansion and also to create jobs in Texas to reinforce our commitment to workforce development in the US," said a city-based IT major. The new employees would be graduates from all Texas universities and colleges. Also, upskilling training will be given to benefit them. Reports claim that the new technology and innovation hub is going to focus on telecommunications, retail and also the banking sectors. The investment in Texas will reinforce the commitment of outsourcing companies to the digital transformation for American enterprises by leveraging talent from the state.

It is a part of the strategy by Infosys to drive digital transformation of American businesses. "Digital transformation is changing every industry. Our hubs will allow us to co-locate, co-innovate and co-create along with our clients," said U.B. Pravin Rao, Infosys Chief Operating Officer.
