Instagram to hold first photo exhibition in India

Social media app Instagram will hold its first ever photograph exhibition in India on Wednesday In Kolkata. In this photos generated from the photo and video sharing app will be displayed. The exhibition will run with the theme "Celebrating Diversity of Bengal", and will feature photos taken using the popular app.
The community-centric photo exhibition will feature several images covering festivals and culture of West Bengal. It also displays images from the local Instagram community capturing diversity of the state in landscape, people, food, wildlife, architecture, etc.
Instagram has started to widen its base in India, with many Indians taking to the app to post funny Dubsmash videos and some other updates.This is the first photograph exhibition by Instagram in india.
