Inter Student Sets Herself Ablaze In Telangana

The count of Intermediate Students committing suicides in Telangana kept increasing day-by-day. On Saturday, 17-Year-Old Shirisha who is a BiPC Student set herself ablaze by pouring kerosene on her body after failing in the Zoology Subject in the First Year Intermediate. Then, She jumped off from the first floor of her residence.
The Teenager died on spot. Mortal Remains were sent to Narayanpet Government Hospital for post-mortem. A case under Section 174 CrPC was registered by the Cops.
Over 3 lakh students failed in the Telangana Intermediate Examinations in 2019. The NHRC took suo moto cognisance of the suicides of 18 Inter Students and severed notice to the Telangana Government seeking detailed report.
Youngsters continued to take extreme measures even after TRS Government declared Revaluation and Recounting will be conducted free of cost. The death of so many teenagers should be a lesson to the Parents, Teachers and Rulers. Isn't there a necessity to revamp the education system and thought process?
