Intermediate student raped by teenagers
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 Jan 2014 4:57 PM GMTA 16-year-old girl from Ibrahimpatnam who was studying intermediate at a private college in Malakpet was allegedly raped by two teenagers .The incident happened nearly 20 days ago and it came to light on Monday after the victim's family lodged a complaint with the police.
According to police, the victim, a first year Intermediate student was raped by two teenagers, both of whom are known to her. The girl in her complaint said that, the two boys forced her to get down at Manneguda Crossroads in Hayathnagar and threatened her to throw acid and took her on their bike to a vacant plot and raped her.
Scared, the girl got down and the duo took her on their bike to a vacant plot, police said. One of the accused is a 17-year-old electrician from the neighborhood, while the other is an Intermediate student. A rape case has been registered against those teenagers under Nirbhaya Act aafter receiving a written complaint. It is learnt that she was drugged before the sexual assault
