Do We Need IPL?: Rajinikanth

Rajinikanth found fault with the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) at the time when people are facing severe issue due to lack of sufficient drinking and irrigation water. Expressing his displeasure over focus of people shifting to such a competition in the current situation, He suggested Chennai Super Kings Players and Supporters to wear Black Badges to extend support to the people demanding establishment of Cauvery Management Board. 'IPL in Chennai when Cauvery issue is going on is an embarrassment,' commented the Superstar.
Thalaivar cautioned the Rulers to face the people's ire if they continue to implement the Supreme Court order. He asked Prime Minister to respond and resolve the matter immediately.
Already, PMK has given a bandh call on April 11th. DMK has extended support to the statewide bandh.
Actors Vijay, Suriya, Nasser and Satyaraj took up deeksha demanding setting up of Cauvery Management Board. Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan extended support to them.
