Tirupati laddu is one of its kind. One can’t get similar taste in any other form of laddu may be, because it’s the prasadam of the lord of seven hills or because of the ingredients that go into making it. The tradition of Tirupati laddu is nearly 300 years old.

Recently ‘ Tirupati laddu’ got the patent rights under the Geographical Indications of Goods .

And now one more controversial issue was happened and today one of the piligrim found a big iron bolt in the middle of the Laddu Prasadam.A devotee from Hyderabad visited the holy place yesterday and bought some Laddus to serve his friends.After returning to home town he got surprised by identifying a big iron bolt in middle of the Laddu.He got upset by seeing the iron bolt and informed to media.

TTD Officials responded on the incident and said apologies to all pilgrims for the mistake and assured that it won’t happen again.
