Is 'Bangaru' KCR's favourite word in Telugu?

Bangaru⦠This seems to be KCR's favourite word. Bangaru means golden. KCR has won every Telanganiteâs heart when he said that he would strive to achieve Bangaru Telangana, meaning golden Telangana. His slogan has become exceedingly popular all across Telangana and the voters have backed him to the hilt.
So far so good. Some months ago, KCR stopped at a village en route to his farmhouse. He came to know that the villageâs name was Vasala Marri. As is his wont, he made an impromptu announcement that he was adopting the village. He told the villagers that he would visit the village another 20 times and ensure that the village becomes Bangaru Vasalamarri . He said the village will become Bangaru Vasalamarri in just one year.
But herein lay the catch. Whatever happened to the Bangaru Telangana promise? If Telangana becomes Golden Telangana, then all villages including Vasalamarri would turn golden. Why talk of only Vasalamarri? Isn't it a comedown from the high pedestal of Bangaru state to a mere Bangaru village?
Many people are now beginning to feel that KCR should start using the word Bangaru only sparingly. Otherwise, the word will lose its salience due to over-use
