Is BRS boss behind anti-Malla Reddy gang-up in Telangana?

Who is behind the gang-up of the five TRS MLAs against controversial minister Malla Reddy in Secunderabad? Five MLAs led by Mynampalli Hanumantha Rao have raised a banner of revolt against Minister Ch Malla Reddy and they met twice - once in Secunderabad and then in Tirumala - on the issue.

If highly placed sources are to be believed, the TRS top leadership could be behind the revolt against Malla Reddy. The TRS/BRS boss is said to be upset with the spate of controversies that Malla Reddy is raking up. The 'boss' feels that the recent raids on his assets, ED cases against him, his spat with Revanth Reddy and his booze sessions during Munugode bypolls have brought a lot of disrepute for the party.

The party is also unhappy with the way he is completely dominating the party in Medchal Malkajgiri district, by garnering all key posts to his friends, relatives and supporters. The way he was edged out of the Reddynadu meeting near Ghatkesar too has made the party feel that he is more a liability than an asset to the party.

Unable to send him out directly, the high command has begun isolating him by making the five MLAs revolt against him. All the five MLAs are considered quite close to KCR and KTR. Curiously, the BRS high command has not initiated any action against these five MLAs. This only shows that the high command is behind these MLAs. Otherwise, these MLAs would not dare oppose all-powerful Malla Reddy, say sources.
