The alleged liquor scam unearthed in Delhi created a sensation across the nation. YSRCP Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy’s son Magunta Raghava getting arrested in connection with the case turned out to be a sensation in political circles. If we have to take anything from the media reports coming from the national capital Delhi, the next target in the case is none other than Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLC.. KCR’s daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha.

The media reports say that the Central Bureau of Investigation is getting ready to call Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s daughter Kavitha to Delhi for questioning and based on the evidence that was gathered as of now there is a chance of her getting arrested.

The concerned circles said that the CBI is making steps in a planned manner. To see that the tag of the Bharatiya Janata Party targeting the political opponents will not come, the key conspirators in the case are being arrested one after the other.

Sarath Chandra Reddy, director of Aurobindo Pharma Group, Indospirits group director Sameer Mahendru, Abhishek Boinpally, and former Chartered Accountant of Kavitha Gorantla Buchibabu were arrested earlier. As per the circles, the officers are gathering evidence against the accused in the case.

As per the reports, the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) is believed to have gathered key evidence to prove how the South group did lobbying in changing the excise policy to help a few manufacturers and liquor suppliers in Delhi. Magunta Raghav’s arrest in the case is the last blow. The concerned circles reportedly felt the same off the record.

The agency mentioned the name of MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha in all the charge sheets that were filed with the Delhi court in connection with the case. Reports are doing rounds which say that Arun Ramachandra Pillai who is said to be the kingpin in the entire excise scam had turned approver and gave key leaks to the concerned officials. An opinion is going on in the national capital Delhi which says that Kavitha will be called to Delhi and after assessing her role in the case she might be arrested. We have to wait and see if this is just a rumour of truth.
