Is Congress trying for Congress-Mukt Telangana?

The Congress in Telangana, appears to have lost its plot. It is clearly not in the reckoning anywhere in the two municipal corporations and five municipalities that are going to polls on April 30. Nowhere are its leaders campaigning in any municipality. No leader worth the salt is involved in campaigning and strategizing.
Take the case of Siddipet municipality. One can see TRS and BJP flags every nook and corner of the town. But, it is rare to find a Congress flag. What more, out of the 47 seats, the Congress has put up candidates only in 30 seats. No big name is involved in the campaign. Neither Uttam Kumar Reddy nor Revanth Reddy are seen in action. Shockingly, every day, some Congress leader or the other is leaving the party and is joining in the TRS. Nothing is being done to stop them or to talk to them to understand their grievances.
The situation is much the same in Warangal, Khammam, Atchampet, Nakrekal and other places. The party seems to be completely out of gear in all these places. With the campaign ending on Tuesday, the Congress candidates could not cover even half of their constituencies.
