Is JD Lakshminarayana fighting a lost cause?

Once he was famous as an honest cop. He had even arrested and interrogated present CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. He later forayed into politics and found himself nowhere. He wanted to join the BJP but got no invite. He then joined the Jana Sena and though defeated, polled the largest number of votes for the party.
But, today former JD of the CBI, Lakshminarayana finds himself out of place in politics. He is out of the Jana Sena and is close to the BJP. But, he is not a formal member of the BJP. He is attending RSS sponsored programmes, but the RSS does not trust him fully. He finds both the TDP and the Congress unattractive. Yet, he still has political ambitions and feels Vizag is his constituency. To woo the Vizag voters, he had taken up the issue of the privatization of the Vizag steel plant. Though he has been speaking on the issue and is ready to join any agitation, no one seems to be willing to invite him.
JD is said to be in a state of confusion. By taking up the Vizag Steel Plant issue, he has antagonized the BJP on one hand and has not gained much on the other hand. Once he has taken a stand, he cannot back off. But there seems to be no mood in Vizag for a long battle on the issue. So, the man who probed complicated cases is realizing that probing the minds of the voters is another thing. It's an entirely new ballgame.
