Just months before the General Elections, TDP Government has been contemplating to set up 60-feet bronze statue of NT Rama Rao on the peak point in Neerukonda which is near Amaravati.
What's the speciality of NTR Memorial?

Actually, NTR Memorial Project can't be completed within a short period of four months. This seems to be more like a strategic move for political mileage so as to retain power. As per official sources, This Project can be completed within 46 months if there are no hurdles. Had if TDP Government is really serious about NTR Memorial, Why Election Year was preferred to kickstart it?
Here is another Twist - AP Government would sanction only a portion of Rs 400 crore fund required for NTR Memorial. Rest of the money will be acquired through crowd funding. A Trust will be formed for this massive exercise.There was severe criticism on TDP Leadership after the defeat of Suhasini in Kukatpally. NTR Memorial could be an attempt to convey that Nandamuri Family always got due importance.
