Is this Chandrababu's costly mistake ?

Has Chandrababu made a major mistake by handing over reins of the party in Vijayawada West to MP Kesineni Nani? This question is now being hotly debated in the TDP circles these days. Ever since Chandrababu Naidu made Kesineni Nani the incharge of the TDP for Vijayawada West, there is a revolt of sorts in the party
It is common knowledge that the troika of Buddha Venkanna, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao and Nagul Meera is at loggerheads with Kesineni. There was a fierce dispute during the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation elections when Nani unilaterally announced the name of his daughter Shwetha as the party's mayoral candidate. Buddha-Bonda-Meera strongly opposed the move and protested with Chandrababu Naidu.
In fact, Kesineni Nani countered this by threatening to leave the party and even said that he would not contest in the 2024 elections. Chandrababu appears to have given in to Kesineni Nani's pressure tactics and made him the incharge of Vijayawada West. Party insiders and analysts are surprised that Chandrababu Naidu has ignored the claims of Bonda-Buddha-Meera combine, who are always at the beck and call of Chandrababu Naidu.
Several in the TDP feel that Chandrababu Naidu could have waited for some more time before appointing Nani. There are several other constituencies in the state, which do not have conveners. Chandrababu should have filled those posts first and then must have worked out some solution to the Vijayawada West Assembly constituency, feel TDP insiders.
