Is this genotype protecting Indians from COVID-19?

In the world's powerful country, America two thousand people are dying every day, and in Britan, nearly one thousand are dying with the coronavirus. Similar situations are seen in the Europe continent too. Globally, 16,05,548 are tested positive, and 95,808 has died of this virus. When coming to India, 6771 are infected, and 228 have died.
A surprising question comes from the people is that even India having the limited health facilities, then how it got succeeded in confining the virus. The primary reason for this is, the government have reacted quickly and imposed the lockdown in the country. As per some analysts, another reason is the genotype in the Indians is saving the people from the virus. Indians have genotype, hsamiR27B, and this saves the people from the deadly virus. But this has to be scientifically proven.
Another news strongly heard is the that Malaria drug, Chloroquine is also used to control the virus. So, most of the people believe that Malaria drug, along with hsamiR27B genotype, will save people from corona virus.
