Bullet Proof vehicles are given to individuals by the government who are facing threats as a safety measure. The vehicles given to individuals can withstand any sort of attack if any happens. But an MLA had an unpleasant experience with a bullet-proof vehicle after it broke down while the legislator was traveling.
Firebrand Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Telangana's Goshamahal who recently walked out of the jail was allotted a bullet-proof vehicle as per the intelligence information. But the vehicle broke down near the Afzal Gunj area. Shockingly this is the first time the vehicle broke down.
After the vehicle broke down the MLA reportedly called the concerned officer and objected to this. Saying that the vehicle broke down, MLA Raja Singh asked if this is the protection the Intelligence department gives to a person who is having threats. The BJP MLA even mentioned the incidents where his vehicle broke down.
Recalling the incident where his vehicle broke down earlier in August Raja Singh said that his vehicle broke down on the road and he had to reach the Nampally court along with his gunmen in an auto-rickshaw. Again the vehicle broke down today, the firebrand MLA said.
The concerns raised by the MLA cannot be ruled out and there is a possibility of threats against him. He recently landed in a big controversy after he reportedly made objectionable comments about Prophet Mohammad. PD Act was slapped against him and he was released from jail after two months of his stay.
The heat around the controversy was such that lawyers who represented the Goshamahal MLA also faced threats and a few people reportedly called the lawyers and demanded them to back off or else they might have to face dire consequences if they fight for Raja Singh.
The firebrand MLA of BJP who carried his religious belief onto his sleeves sent shocking waves across the nation with his comments. Even the Muslim nations came down severely on him and the situation made the Bharatiya Janata Party suspend him from the party. After a big legal battle, the MLA was granted conditional bail by the court.
