As social media is on a rise the complaints often reach through emails, Twitter, and other means. One such complaint raised many eyeballs on the issue raised.
Going into detail, one married man who hails from Karnataka complained to the PMO on Twitter. The person is identified as Yadunandan Acharya. The person also tagged the Union Minister for Law and Justice and the City Police Commissioner of Bengaluru. The tweet took social media by storm.
The person claimed that he was being beaten by his wife and he also sustained injuries. Having made the allegations, he also asked the government if this is what the Naari Shakti government talks about.
Netizens stood in solidarity with the person and demanded justice for him. The Police Commissioner is said to have asked the person to approach the nearby Police Station for further procedure.
We can imagine the amount of abuse or harassment the person might have gone through that he tweeted seeking action from the Prime Minister's Office.
"Would anyone help me? Or did anyone help me when this happened? No, Because I am a man!My wife attacked me with knife, Is this the naari shakti you boost about? Can I put a domestic violence case against her for this? No!," he tweeted.
