Is YS Jagan Following Narendra Modi?
By: Tupaki Desk | 12 Jan 2021 3:33 AM GMTClearly, AP Chief Minister seems to believe in Narendra Modi's dictum of answering criticism with development. So at a time when Chandrababu Naidu has suddenly turned his yellow into saffron and started attacking Jagan on the issue of attacks on the temples, YS Jagan has answered with the introduction of the laptop scheme for students.
He has announced that if the students wanted, instead of giving Amma Vodi scheme, he would provide them with laptops. He said the laptops would have three year warranty and would be of a high quality. Jagan and his team feels that the scheme will catch the imagination of the youth in a great measure and the people would get busy applying for the laptops. At the same time, Jagan did not let go the opportunity of Chandrababu Naidu's temple politics. He said whenever a great and pro-people scheme is implemented, Chandrababu will raise the issue of temple attacks.
Thus, he not only managed to divert the attention of the people from the attacks, but also took on Chandrababu in an effective manner. After all, this is what Modi did after 2002 riots in Gujarat. He ensured that development was discussed not riots.
