A Teacher in Chicago mistook a homemade digital clock brought to school by a Muslim Teen for a bomb. What follows is, The Teenager was taken out of Texas school in handcuffs and this led to backlash on the social media.
Ahmed Mohamed, 14-Year-Old, told his hobby is to invent stuff and that's how he made a clock. "I was arrested for a hoax bomb," he told, speaking to a website.
US President Obama reacted: "Cool clock, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It's what makes America great."
Even Hillary Clinton extended her support with the Teen: "Assumptions and fear don't keep us safe-they hold us back. Ahmed, stay curious and keep building".
Since the arrest, A photo of Ahmed Mohamed with handcuffs and sports a T-shirt with NASA logo has been retweeted numerous times in just few hours. #IStandWithAhmed is trending on top ever since the news went viral.
