IT Attacks: Unrecognized Parties received Massive Donations!

The Income Tax Department"s show is now over yet. The other day the IT officials carried out searches in multiple locations simultaneously. The searchers were carried out to look for the political parties which did not disclose the funds they receive from others as donations. The IT department is after the registered but unrecognized political parties.
It is said that the IT officials busted a few parties that are receiving funds but have not announced the funds. Reports say that a few parties are operating from shocking locations like a watch repair shop, a hut, and a slum area. These parties received donations worth hundreds of crores.
A party that is being operated from a watch repair shop received donations worth around Rs 370 crores. The political party is based in Uttar Pradesh and the chief of the party reportedly stays in Ahmedabad. When asked, he reportedly said that he used to provide the donation certificates by taking some commission and knows nothing more. Few such parties were also busted reportedly.
A political party operating from a slum area in Mumbai"s Sion received donations worth Rs 100 crores. The office of the political party is located in a small area of hundred-square feet. It is said that the bank records that deal with the transactions of the donations were seized and further investigation is underway.
There is another such party in the financial capital Mumbai which received donations of around Rs 50 crores. Many people sent donations to the party and the office of the political party is located in the North Western suburbs of Mumbai. The investigation is underway to nab the details of the people who dealt with the donations.
As per the information, more than 200 locations in the country across the states were raided by the IT department as part of the crackdown on the parties that were not recognized. All the political parties reportedly received donations worth over Rs 2,000 crores as per the reports. However, this is a guess and the donation amount would increase after more information and details on the funds received are out.
