Nara Lokesh Goes For A Ride In Driver-Lless Car

AP IT Minister Nara Lokesh is currently touring USA. He went for a ride in driver-less car in San Francisco and got to know how it works.
Andhra Pradesh Government and Google X signed an MoU to set up Development Centre in Visakhapatnam. So far, Google X hasn't launched its operations anywhere outside USA. For the first time, This reputed firm is going to invest in Andhra Pradesh.
An agreement has been signed by AP Government and Google X over Free Space Optical Communication. As part of the deal, Development Centre will be established in Visakha. In association with AP Fibergrid, Google X will establish 2,000 free space optical communication links in 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. High Speed Mobile Data and Wifi Services will be provided by March 2019 without Fibre Cable. Even remote villages & forest areas would get internet facilities.
Nara Lokesh believes Google X is going to create a revolution in Andhra Pradesh with the technological advancements it achieved. 'X will be our innovation partner, deploy its resources and team in our state in helping us achieve our goal of a #DigitalAndhra,' he opined.
In May this year, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu visited Google X centre during his US Tour. He claimed to have seen Driver-less Car and Baloons-based Internet. He even succeeded in convincing Google X to use AP for its pilot projects.
From December 18th to 22nd, CM Chandrababu Naidu's Family planned Maldives vacation. Nara Lokesh will join the family members in Maldives after the completion of his US Tour.
