IT Raids on Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary

Income Tax Department on Wednesday conducted raids at the properties belonging to Tamil Nadu chief secretary P Ram Mohan Rao in Chennai, Bangalore and Chittoor.
As many as 13 locations were covered by the IT Sleuths. This include the houses and offices belonging to Ram Mohan Rao's Son, Relatives and Associates.
At around 5.30 am, IT Officials reached Ram Mohan Rao's Anna Nagar residence. Over 20 IT officials have been conducting the raids at the official residence of Chief Secretary.
Few days ago, IT Raids were conducted on the properties belonging to TTD Board Member Shekar Reddy and his brother Srinivasasalu. In these raids, Rs 136 crore in cash and Rs 177 crore in gold has been seized. Sekhar Reddy maintains good relations with AIADMK and IAS Officers. That's how Tamil Nadu CS came under the scanner.
