IT Raids at Television Queen's residence

Income Tax officials on Tuesday conducted reads at Television Queen and film producer Ekta Kappor's residences and also at Bala Tele Films offices for suspected tax evasion. Ekta is the daughter of veteran Bollywood hero Jeetendra and sister to actor Thushar Kapoor.
The searches have been conducted at seven locations across Mumbai including the residences of Jeetendra, Ekta and Thushar Kapoor, apart from the Balaji Tele Films office and it's Studio. The operation began at 7 am in the morning and a team of over 100 officials is on the job.
CBI will be recording the statement of Ekta Kapoor who is managing director at Balaji Tele Films and Jeetendra who is the chairman of the company will be recorded post the completion of searches.
As the news of IT Raids spread like wildfire, Balaji Tele Films shares got dropped down by 4.41 percent to stand at Rs 43.35 on BSE at 11:30 am Today.
