Is There A Link Between IT Raids And Ponguleti's Politics?

IT sleuths descended in drones on TRS MP and industrialist Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy on Tuesday. The IT officials raided 18 premises belonging to the MP in both Khammam and Hyderabad. As many as 12 premises are in Khammam and six in Khammam. The raids began at around 9 AM and are still continuing. Sources said that the premises raided include MP Ponguleti's Raghav Infra. Ponguleti is into realty and infrastructure development.
The raids on Ponguleti's premises come days after he expressed displeasure at his political rivals Payam Venkateswarlu and others getting nominated as TRS candidates for the upcoming assembly elections. Ponguleti is at logger heads with many of the TRS leaders in Khammam district. Political watchers are trying to link these developments with the IT raids. They feel this could be KCR's way of chastising or warning Ponguleti .
Ponguleti has won on YSRCP ticket, but after bifurcation, joined the ruling TRS. Ever since, he has been maintaining a low profile in the party.
