IT Raids on Mahesh Producers

Income Tax sleuths have made it a habit to conduct raids on leading production houses in the Industry just before the releases of their big budgeted ventures. Last year, Office belonging to Dil Raju and DVV Danaiah have been raided for Sankranthi when the films SVSC and Nayak were gearing up for release.
In 2014, IT Officials have targeted '1 - Nenokkadine' producers Anil Sunkar, Ram Achanta and Gopi Achanta. With the reports of Rs 72 crore deal with Eros in circulation and having 'Aagadu' with Mahesh Babu in the pipeline, 14 Reels Entertainment has become an easy target for the IT Department.
As per media reports, IT Sleuths have raided the office of 14 Reels on Wednesday evening and all the accounts related to the production house have been thoroughly checked. 'ONE' Producers have to be prepared for a heavy penalty if found guilty o evading the tax.
