It's All Quiet On Telangana Congress Front
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 Jan 2021 7:03 AM GMTSuddenly, the Congress Party biggies in Telangana have fallen silent. They have not been issuing statements and are not speaking to any media house. TPCC working president Revanth Reddy, who basked in media attention and attacked KCR day in and day out, has stopped making statements.
So is Uttam Kumar Reddy, who was forced to continue as the PCC chief even after he had resigned.
Meanwhile leaders like V Hanumanth Rao, Jagga Reddy and Jeevan Reddy are remaining silent. VH, who is known to speak his mind, too has not said anything. Interestingly, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, who is one of the strong contender for the PCC chief post, has also stopped making statements. His biggest worry is the adverse attitude of his brother Rajagopal Reddy. Rajagopal Reddy has been saying that he would join the BJP. Ever since, differences cropped between the two brothers, Komatireddy has not said anything.
Sources say that now that the appointment of the new PCC chief is postponed at least till the Nagarjunasagar bypolls, the leaders are retreating into their shells. Many leaders are now confined to their constituencies and are not even bothering to visit Gandhi Bhavan. So, there is a deathly silence in the Congress party these days.
